Winston Churchill - Chairman
SCP Partners
Win Churchill is managing general partner of SCP Partners, a Philadelphia based venture capital firm with more than $1 billion under management that he founded in 1996. Prior to starting SCP, he was a managing partner of a private investment firm that specialized in leveraged buyouts on behalf of Bessemer Securities Corporation and practiced law at the Philadelphia firm of Saul, Ewing, Remick & Saul.
In addition to serving as FourthWall Media’s chairman, he is trustee of Fordham University, Georgetown University, Immaculata University, American Friends of New College, Oxford, England, The Gesu School and Young Scholars Charter School. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Fordham University, an M.A. in Economics from Oxford University where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and a J.D. degree from Yale Law School.
Michael C. Boyd
Mike Boyd co-founded QVC Network, Inc., a cable television retailer with over 6,000 employees whose sales rose during his employment to over $1.3 billion annually, and served as President and director of QVC from 1986 until his retirement in 1994. Subsequently, he was founder, President and director of TeleSpectrum Worldwide, Inc., and has significant experience in the direct response industry having held senior positions at Franklin Mint and Lillian Vernon Corporation.
Mike serves as Chairman and CEO of Longport, Inc., a medical technology company that specializes in high-resolution imaging. He also serves on the Board of Directors of cable television retailer HSN. He is a member of the governing boards of Penn Mutual Insurance Company, the Greentree Perpetual Assurance Company, Altura International, TCIM Services, and Smoke Stoppers, Inc.
Roger Carolin
SCP Partners
Roger Carolin is a Venture Partner at SCP Partners and has over twenty years experience in technology related businesses. Prior to joining SCP, Roger was co-founder and CEO of CFM Technologies, Inc., a successful semiconductor equipment company that went public in 1996 and was subsequently sold to Mattson Technology, Inc. Before CFM, Roger worked in the defense and aerospace industries in high-speed digital systems development at Honeywell and General Electric. He is a director of Amkor Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMKR), FourthWall Media, and Aviom. Roger received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Duke University and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
John Jaggers
Sevin Rosen Funds
John Jaggers joined Sevin Rosen Funds in 1988, attracted by the firm¹s top-tier reputation and success in building substantial companies from its first two funds. He currently serves as SR Fund¹s managing general partner. Before joining SR Funds, John worked with small, rapidly-growing technology companies at Rotan Mosle, providing venture capital and corporate finance services. John also has experience as a design and software engineer. Since 1993, he has acted as the firm's administrative general partner working through the financial, legal, and administrative details associated with each deal, and in 2006 became managing general partner. John received his B.A. and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Timothy Peters
Tim's twenty years of experience in the Information Services arena brought him to FourthWall Media to build a team to bring innovative artificial intelligence software to the Advanced Advertising market.
In 1985, Tim founded the Information Express Company, which delivered localized search engines for Bell Yellow Pages companies. Then, in 1988 he founded his second company, Source Media, Inc, where he served as CEO, Chairman of the Board, and Director of Holdings from 1988 through 1999.
At Source Media, Information Services came to life in 1996 through Interactive Applications on television, telephone and PC. Source Media went public in 1996 and was listed on the NASDAQ. Liberate Technology realized the value of the Interactive TV software and acquired the technology in 1999. Tim retired as Chairman from Source Media, and then returned in 2001 as part of the FourthWall family. Now, as CEO of FourthWall Media, Tim has again nurtured a technological idea into the rapidly growing Advanced Advertising market.
Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Illinois University, and received his MBA from the University of Denver.
Julie Roehm
Julie Roehm is a marketing consultant with experience in all facets of business strategy and marketing execution. Her experience includes work for automotive, retail, financial services, telecommunications, start-ups, private equity and VC's, media companies, and agencies. Known for her bold imagination and creativity in finding exciting new ways to reach customers, she has created truly innovative, high profile campaigns for industry giants including Ford, Chrysler, and Wal-Mart.
Julie has held senior positions at some of the world’s largest corporations, including Director, Marketing Communications at DaimlerChrysler and Ford Motor Company, and SVP Marketing Communications at Wal-Mart. She consults to major corporations worldwide to guide their positioning, the use of media platforms, and the development of comprehensive marketing strategies.
Julie holds an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Purdue University, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Dr. Louis Slothouber
Louis has more than twenty-five years of experience in large-scale software development, focused on the integration of artificial intelligence technology into mainstream applications. Credited with over twenty US and international patents (pending), Louis is responsible for the research and development of new technologies for the company.
Before co-founding FourthWall Media, Louis was the computer scientist for StarNine Technologies, acquired by Quarterdeck Corp., where he worked on the leading edge of software design and development that evolved into the Web and e-commerce. Prior to this, Louis held a position as assistant professor of computer science at the University of Houston, where he investigated the synthesis of artificial intelligence and programming language complier technologies. Louis holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the College of William and Mary, in Virginia.
