Senior Software Engineer (Motorola Set-Top Box)

Description:
We are looking for strong C/C++ developers with previous Motorola set-top box development experience. In this position you will help continue design and development of our industry-standard EBIF user agent for Motorola set-top boxes. This position requires strong technical skills and experience along with the desire and ability to work within a talented engineering team.
Responsibilities:

Contribute to the overall success of the Engineering team and FourthWall Media

Continue design and development of our industry-leading EBIF user agent

Document software design

Review software design

Maintain existing software
Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- At least five years software development experience
- Strong programming experience with C/C++
- Strong programming experience on Motorola set-top boxes (GIOS, VxWorks, VRTX)
- Understanding and appreciation for high quality code and associated best practices
- Must be team-player with solid communication skills, strong time-management, creative problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a high pressure, deadline oriented, and fast paced environment
Programming experience in any of the following areas would be a plus:
- Other TV software (including PowerTV, OpenTV, OCAP, EBIF)
- Interactive TV data transport formats (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, OpenStreamer, DSM-CC)
- IP Networking (UDP/TCP-IP)
- Internet protocols such as HTTP and FTP
